Hanging Tips
Find the visual center of your wall and work outward. This keeps the arrangement balanced without precise measuring.
Gallery curators hang art so the center of the frame sits at 57 inches from the floor — roughly eye level. Use this as your anchor point.
Keep consistent spacing between frames in a grid or strip arrangement. 2–3 inches looks intentional; anything wider starts to feel disconnected.
Trace each frame on kraft paper, cut them out, and tape them to the wall. Rearrange until you love it before making any nail holes.
Three or five pieces often look more natural than two or four. When in doubt, add one more small piece to balance the group.
Combining portrait and landscape frames creates visual rhythm and stops a wall from feeling flat. Try at least one mixed layout.
